Our Mission:
The purpose of this church shall be to worship God, to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, and to celebrate the Sacraments; to realize Christian fellowship and unity within this church and the Church Universal; to render loving service toward humankind; and to strive for righteousness, justice, and peace.
Emmanuel UCC had been "on the square" of Abbottstown since 1768. We are a warm, caring church that embraces diversity in a family atmosphere. We celebrate our past as we reach out to connect with the present and future to serve the needs of our church, the wider community, and the world. We believe that loving God means loving and serving our neighbors.
